Life is full of surprises, twists, and turns. Sometimes, we find ourselves on paths we never expected. This is the story of "Almost Didn't Happen," a journey that reminds us of the beauty of resilience and the power of hope.

In this blog post, we will explore the journey behind this inspiring, yet unfinished tale. We will dive into the challenges faced, the lessons learned, and the moments that made it all worthwhile.

Life never moves in straight lines. It twists, it turns, it surprises us. Some days feel heavy, some feel light, and sometimes we don’t even know what to feel at all. That’s where my book, Almost Didn’t Happen, comes in. It isn’t finished yet—it’s still growing, just like me. Right now, it has six chapters, but more importantly, it holds pieces of my heart, my struggles, my opinions, and my imperfect self.

This book started as my diary. It wasn’t meant to be shared with the world at first. It was a space to write about the people in my life, the things that bother me, and the thoughts I couldn’t always say out loud. Slowly, those private words started to form something bigger. I realized I didn’t just want to write for myself—I wanted to let others in, to show that it’s okay to be completely unperfect and still keep moving forward or back at the same time.

Writing as Healing

Sometimes emotions build up until they’re too heavy to carry, and the only way I know how to let them go is through words. Every sentence I put on the page makes me feel lighter. Every chapter is a reminder that sharing—even when it feels scary—can be healing. Writing became my way of talking to myself, but also of reaching out to anyone who might read and think, hey, I’ve felt that too.

Imperfection as a Message

Almost Didn’t Happen isn’t about perfection—it’s about the opposite. It’s about living in the middle of the mess and still finding beauty there. We live in a world that constantly pushes us to “have it together,” but the truth is, almost all of us don’t. And that’s okay. My hope is that when someone reads my words, they’ll feel less pressure to be perfect, and more freedom to just be. Perfection is not attainable.

A Journey, Not a Destination

This project is not finished, and honestly, I don’t want it to finish yet. It’s a work in progress, just like me. I’m still learning, still writing, still figuring things out. And that’s the heart of it: Almost Didn’t Happen is less about a final polished book and more about the journey of writing it—the act of turning emotions into something tangible, messy, and real.

If you’ve ever felt unsure of yourself, overwhelmed by life, or like you weren’t “enough,” this book is for you. It’s for anyone who needs to hear that it’s okay to stumble, okay to struggle, and okay to be unperfect while still moving forward.

In the end, it is not just about the destination, but the journey that shapes us. Every journey is a story waiting to be told, and yours is no exception.

Lots of love- T xoxo
